Learn how to play Moon Princess slots: cluster pays, princess powers, free spins, and bonus strategies for this high-volatility Play'n GO game.
Moon Princess Slots: How to Play and Win Big
Moon Princess slots, developed by Play'n GO, is a visually striking 5-reel, 6-row cascading slot with a fantasy anime theme. It features a unique trio of wild characters that boost multipliers and trigger respins, making it a favorite among players who enjoy dynamic gameplay and high volatility.
With an RTP of 96% and a max win of 5,000x the stake, Moon Princess slots offer strong winning potential. Bonus features like free spins and character powers add depth. This guide covers gameplay mechanics, strategies, and how bonuses apply to this popular title.
Game Mechanics and Pay System
Moon Princess uses a cluster pays system, where wins are formed by landing five or more matching symbols connected vertically or horizontally. Winning clusters disappear, allowing new symbols to fall into place, creating chain reactions and extended winning sequences.
The three princess wilds—Luna, Stella, and Rose—each have unique abilities. Luna adds wilds, Stella removes low-paying symbols, and Rose increases multipliers. These powers activate randomly during base game and free spins, enhancing win potential with each cascade.
Free Spins and Bonus Features
Triggering 10 free spins requires four scatter symbols. A fifth scatter adds five more spins. During free spins, all three princess powers are active, and the multiplier increases with each cascade, resetting only when no new wins occur.
The bonus round is where Moon Princess shines. With cascading wins and escalating multipliers, large payouts are possible. The theoretical max of 5,000x is rare but achievable during extended bonus runs with favorable symbol drops.
Using Bonuses to Play Moon Princess
Many casinos allow Moon Princess to count toward wagering requirements, though often at reduced weightings. Since it's a high-volatility game, it may contribute 50% or less to bonus playthrough, meaning more bets are needed to fulfill terms.
